Altus clamp issues

I'm trying to remove the clamp form a Altus shifter. I thought removing the 5 point screw would do it, but no luck. Any suggestions?
The shifter is a Shimano Altus SL-M315. Exploded view is at: LINK . I'm not sure what is holding it in place. Maybe glued? Clamp seems to be aluminum while most of the shifter is plastic.
