These were nice mid level Japanese bikes if it is indeed in like new condition about $200. Typically when a bike is advertised like new it has sat unused so figure on spending $100 or so on new consumables, tires brake ads cables and service.

I'd want to pay less for this bike; I'd peg its value closer to $150 or so. The bike is very middling of the road but condition really matters and it could be worth more if in great condition.

Just bought it. Looks to be in great condition, no rot or rust anywhere, paint is flawless. Shifts and brakes great. Got it for $150.

Well leave it to my wife, the detail person who found a few scrapes in the paint. Stiii I'd say 95% beautiful. It is ride ready and all mechanicals seem fine as nearly as I can tell and it does ride nicely. I'm sure people here could find things to do, but other than changing out some things I don't like (pedals, saddle, and changing stem and seatpost to black ) I'll leave it alone. I think in Philly I can resell and get some profit from it.
I'll post some pics when I'm done with it.
thnx

That's a decent deal especially since Bridgestones command a premium here. Tires and tape look new too.

If those are the original 28 year old tires then, you should probably replace them. I've had beautiful looking original old tires fail suddenly on me before. Be good. Have fun.

Hey thanks, glad you like it- it is a good looking color and I wanted to keep it simple. I made some detail changes- mostly to black- pedals, stem and seatpost (not a fan of chrome). Also wanted bar tape that would pick up the black on the bike, gray on the saddle and white on the hoods and cables which I didn't want to change. Oh, changed to a wider and black handlebar too.

Looks like it's got threaded eyelets for fenders/racks. Very sweet ride. Have fun. Be good.
