RD-4500 and FD-4500 will these work with friction shifters?

I'm not exactly Sheldon Brown, but I can't think of a case in which any mechanical derailer wouldn't work with friction shifters. The incompatibilities you have when mixing and matching indexed shifters and deraillers are because of cable pull, and a friction shifter has essentially an infinite variability in pull. :-)

You might find some variety of older friction shifters that don't have enough cable pull to get you across a wide cassette.

But it's not that the derailleurs are incompatible with the shifters.
