What do you drive?

Just randomly thinking last night, what do you fellow C&Vers drive as your main transportation car wise? I wonder how many of you are using C&V vehicles.

Not me. My wife and I have a 09 Mazda CX-7, an 09 Volkswagen Passat and I commute occasionally on a 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200. Not very C&V.

I've owned C&V cars in the past though.

We have a 2008 Nissan Armada that my wife drives, a 2003 VW Beetle that my daughter drives and I have a 2007 Ford Freestyle provided to me as a company car. I guess the Beetle is as C&V as it gets.

I drive a 2002 Passat 1.8T wagon (long story) and a 2001 VW Jetta. In storage is a '62 Beetle body with a '65 fiberglass lemon yellow dune buggy kit. My oldest car that I don't have anymore was a '53 Pontiac Chieftain.

I guess I've never really thought about it before, but I do drive a 1999 Jeep Cherokee "Classic" My wife has a 2002 Jeep Liberty, which coincidently is considered the "Classic" Jeep Liberty since they changed the body style in 2008. So, what do you know, I guess we do drive vehicles of "Classic" style after all... Vintage... now that's a bit rougher to pin down.

My bicycles, mostly.

For automobiles, a '92 Miata and an '92 Range Rover. But I really don't drive much. 30 miles in a week is a heavy driving week for me. I say no to most trips that cannot be made by bicycle.

im an audi tech so i only drive VAG products.
everything for the past 6 years has been +15 years old, mostly diesel.

my wife has a 06 pontiac big van thing. i effing hate it but it serves its purpose.

currently im driving a light blue 92 passat CL wagon. 16v enabled the valvetrainfailtronics control module so swapped in a vr6. 365xxx kms.

i generally park my car over the late spring to mid fall so im thinking about going car-free[i did last year] in the next few weeks and just get rid of the wagon.

im debating buying a new base model 2011 golf 2.5 or i might try and find a good example of my old 03 1.8t jetta. i miss that one a bit.

I drive a Scion TC which of course has a set of Yakima racks sitting on top.
I also have a 2004 Ford Ranger Regular Cab and a 2000 Miata which makes for
(2) two seaters and three two door cars. Problem is, we just found out that my
wife is pregnant! I guess something has to make way for a proper family car.

I recently traded in this ugly 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee for the 09 Passat. Still need to get some racks what won't jack up the paint for the passat though.

'10 Mini Cooper Clubman. Since I ride my bike most places I was able to get an inexpensive low mileage lease and all the repairs are covered...I just buy the tires.

I can even get a bike inside if i fold the seats down.

Horrible motor if you followed VW's original maintenance plan for oil.

2007 Acura TSX. Wife drives a 2006 Honda Pilot. My only C&V car was a 2000 Audi TT that ended up being a money pit, and I sold it 9 months after buying it.

I had a 2001 Subaru that was totaled out this past September. I'm ok, and I got back into another Subaru; A 2004 Outback.

I drive a 2005 Subaru Forester. Great in the snow.
Wife drives a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country.
The barn truck is a 95 Ford F-150.

EDIT: I hate all you bike commuters! I SO sorely wish my job allowed that, but alas, it's just not possible. I drive up to 125 miles a day visiting 3-4 clients. That wouldn't leave a lot of time for actual working. Although this spring I may try to do some "bike to work" days if I can plan a route that makes sense and it fits in with client schedules. I think most have showers

Heavy VW user here. 1997 Passat TDi (215,000 miles); 1982 Rabbit pick-up: low miles, gasoline engine and, best of all, absolutely no rust; and the real heart throb, a 1976 Westfalia with the pop-up roof, sink, ice box and funky green plaid interior that takes our family on vacation every summer. Two liters of fuel-injected mouse power and never any fear of speeding tickets, coupled with the most brilliant camper interior ever designed filling the most space-efficient car ever built makes for a pumpkin-colored love object on a par with my favorite bikes. Original paint and no flower power stickers, though I've been tempted to get the "We're still hippies, but now we have money" bumper sticker. Half true.

I like C&V cars, though my present primary driver is a 2005 Prius.
When I moved to Utah in 2007 I bought a pristine 1982 Honda Prelude with 67k original miles from the first owner - a retiree who drove the car 2 miles a day to the symphony building. The car was immaculate.
I sold it to a collector after learning the true cost and difficulty associated with finding OEM parts for a low-production car.

Other C&V rides I've owned: 1972 Datsun 240z, 1988 Saab 900 turbo (owned from '04-'06)

I have a 2008 Chevy Malibu, this year I added a Yakima roof rack that helps a lot with the bikes. But I usually just fold the rear seat down.

My wife has a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country. Now that we have 5 almost full size bikes in the family I added a 4 bike hitch on the back and fit one in behind the seats.
