WTB shimano 600 6 speed shifter

I’m looking for the indexed lever only, but would buy a complete set. There are small little teeth on the indexed lever that all completely broke off over the years.

@mkeller234 Rear is missing the screw but you already have that piece. Never realized how pricey these guys are.

If someone else has the same, I'm willing to buy, too. I had the exact same problem with the rear shifter

Hang on to those dead shifters. You can stuff the guts out of a 9, 10 or even 11 speed bar end shifter into them. 6208, 424 and 7401 are all like that, probably a few others too.

That’s interesting. Shimano actually made reverse compatibility with them?

I've also got a set of these shifters that aren't working. Can you elaborate on how to "stuff the guts of a 10 speed bar end shifter" in them?

Thanks!

Yes. I can post something over on the main forum when I have time to write it all up. It's pretty straight forward and simple with 9 and 10. With 11 speed a small amount of metal removal is needed so that the shifter will swing enough to pull 11 speeds.

Thanks so much! I guess I actually posted a different question than I meant... I'm looking to do this, but want to know what to purchase. I'd hate to cannibalize another shifter
