Picked up a sweet new bike today.
Picked up a sweet new rig for the eldest young'un today. Don't be jealous, people. You're just going to have to train harder to keep up.
Steel Frame with dazzling purple paint scheme
16" White Tires
White Saddle
Padded handlebar
Chain guard
Training wheels (that should be coming off soon)
The first ride was a lot of fun and a lot faster than the old 12" wheeled ride that will be now commanded by they younger young'un.

I would be so honored to be allowed to make your little girl faster and more comfortable on her new speedy machine that it would of course be a freebie!

Next step is ordering some of these in a kids size 9 or so:
And she thinks she's getting some of these Speedplays, but I'm going to encourage her to go with some black cleated zero float Keo Carbons.

This reminds me of my hold huffy...grey tires, bald as sin. Ahhh...i used to love skidding tires. Now i cringe when it happens. What has happened to me?

You probably got thinner, more expensive tires. I still skid the tire on my fix for great justice. Because it's a beast. But I don't skid my fancy high zoot tires. Who can afford that?

Since I"ve had trouble keeping my bike upright this spring and actually staying on, I got first dibs on the training wheels when they come off!
Very, very cute bike....but not as cute as your little cyclist!
