Want: Technomic tall stems - 90mm/100mm reach in both 25.4 & 26.0 clamps.

Have: nice but less tall stems to trade (eg SR Royals, SR Forged, Kusuki Medallion) , interesting 26.8 seatposts (Rino, DA 7400), a french stem or two...

Any help is immensely appreciated as I now have a use for that rear derailleur.

Also.

I have a pair of Campagnolo non-aero brake levers that have three rows of ten holes drilled in them. I need hoods for them.

My tan gum-rubber DiaCompe hoods don't fit.

Will tan Shimano hoods fit? I have a pair of NOS ones still in the package but don't want to open the package if those hoods won't fit either.

Thanks and cheers
Check out this page about 3/4 of the way down the under "Spares." He has what looks like the part you seek. Calls it a "Signet ring."

No experience with the seller.

LF a set of Ukai 27" rims for my Fuji Del Rey project. Setting this bad boy up with (ideally) all JDM bits with an 11-speed drivetrain running on (hopefully) a Suzue/Ukai 27" wheelset. Haven't found much on Ebay. The rims that come on it are beautiful: they have an anodized black spoke bed and silver sidewalls.

I feel your pain. Only the correctly clocked springs will work. You can guess how I know…

What about a set of BR-AT50 cantis? They look nearly identical with a lesser finish. That’s what I had to source a spring for (until the original popped up).

I’m sorry if you have already thought of this and are specifically going for original form, but it should be a very simple matter to switch from 27” to 700c. That also opens up your options for rims and then you will have a vastly wider selection of tires.

At a glance these springs and covers look like what Shimano used on other canti sets, with the 2 colors of plating to indicate CW and CCW winding.
Has anybody checked if there are other springs & dustcovers that interchange with BR-MC70s?
Cause if so I am sure I have spares I can send you for nothing but postage (and the time it takes me to dig them out of storage)

Yeah, I've done that on a few other bikes already - I just like the look of the big wheels on the giant frame. Plus, these rims are really pretty. I might just lace them to a 130mm hub and call it a day

I've got a 90mm 26.0 Technomic, how long are your SR Royals?

ISO Simplex (or Huret, I suppose) lever operated front derailleur for my '55 Automoto project. Something like a Simplex Competition. Need not be in awesome condition, just operational. I have stuff to trade, NR front/rear derailleurs, other stuff.

Well folks, It looks like I picked up something I can't use. Went to my Co-Op and they threw this wheel in the recycle bin. I thought I would strip it for parts as the spokes appeared to have been pulled out of the eyelets. To my surprise the spoke nipples actually broke in two in the eyelets. The wheel was built with aluminum spoke nipples and they just gave way. I cleaned the rim and hub up and replaced the nipples with brass ones and it it a good wheel. It is now in search of a new BF member to care for it. So today this front wheel is in search of a new home. Mavic rim, Tri-color front hub, Wheelsmith stainless spokes, and DT brass nipples. 28 hole hub so it was likely built for a week-end criterium rider. It appears to have zero time on a bike. As always cost of shipping and first come first to get it. Hopefully the War Department will see more stuff leaving and make her happy. Pics below and PM me with details. Smiles, MH

Like new Mavic rim and zero wear on the tire.

Wheelsmith build sticker, and spoke sticker

Tri-color 28* hub in need of a skewer, but rebuilt with new factory type lube.
Claimed today 8-27-21 Smiles, MH

Another wheel searching for a new home. I don't have the heart to tear this one apart since it would look good on some older bike. 27 X 1-1/4 Mavic rim with Campy Record 5 speed hub. PM me and as always cost of shipping and first to speak up gets it. Smiles, MH

Mavic 27 X 1-1/4. Perhaps a bit of a red label left.

Campy Record hub needs cleaning but should be fine.

Shimano freewheel and lock nut needing a couple of small parts.
