Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think he intended to post the kid's actual speech. That first video was miserable to watch.

"Everybody, I know you can believe in yourself. If you believe in yourself you will know how to ride a bike. If you don't, you just keep practicing. You will get the hang of it I know it. If you, if you keep practicing you will get the hang of it and then you going to get better and better at it after you do it. Thumbs up everybody for rock'n roll!"

That was awesome. I'm hoping this summer to teach my daughter to ride w/o the training wheels. If I'm lucky maybe she'll let me put some oreos or something in her jersey pocket. That would be awesome.

Know the feeling. My 9 year old daughter on her first tri with the new bike. She was so happy just riding.

I love the guy wiping his nose with his entire hand in the background.

But seriously, that's cool that she's already doing triathlons at that age.

I think the bike is way, way cool!! And her smile is worth a million bucks!

PS: Seat might need to be a bit higher. That is all.

I still feel "happy of myself" after riding. Been riding roadbikes for just shy of 30 years.

I'm coaching kids 7-17 and they remind me why I ride a bike.

Rock and roll!
