Recently put my name in a community newsletter as someone who would tune up or repair bikes for a small fee. Now I've spent the last few days working on other people's bikes for wages that would embarrass laborers in 3rd world countries. Missed beautiful days of riding, so tomorrow I ride and from then on rejecting new work. I like working on bikes but when work gets in the way of fun, give up the work I say.

Yep....made that career decision this past January. I'm 72 and still go into the office, but only when I want to/feel like it/got nothin' better to do and I work pro bono. Life is good.
