New (Used) Bike Day Trek Verve+3
I’m 70 years old and I have noticed that my a Surly Crosscheck has been getting slower every year. Last Summer we bought a Terra Trike EVO for my wife. Trend setter that she is, now everybody wants the assisted three wheelers so the dealer said “no” when I asked about one.
They had just taken a two month old Verve+3 in trade and I decided to trade the Surly for it. The dealer transferred the remainder of the Trek warranty so we made the deal.

I have had it out once and really enjoyed it. The riding position of this bike is more upright. That may take a while to get used to. I may end up sticking a well worn Brooks saddle on it.
Peddling over highway overpasses is so much easier.

Having an autoimuune disease, if my pulse rate gets in the 90+ bpm the following day I get very sick. Witht he electric assist, I can keep my pulse below 75 and avoid that.

I don’t care for the seat/seat post. It has a suspension seat post that just feels wobbly. I have a Brooks saddle on my other bike and am so side ring making a switch.
The other thing I miss is a mild front suspension. I ride on track to trails blacktop.
