Schwinn World Tour
Any thoughts as the Schwinn World Tour?

I like the fact that it already has the rear rack and fenders. Plus I want to get a commuter bike with drop bars.

ok this bike confuses me... the spec list it as having 1 1/8" aheadset... but in the photo it clearly is threaded with a quill stem. doesn't seem bad for the money tho... and i'm really picky and hate schwinn

Wish I'd looked at this instead of the Fuji Touring.

This ride looks very attractive for the price. It seems they have 32 hole rims on 36 hole hubs though. That is a little odd.

The big bad evil Performance has this bike on sale for $600 before discounts. I just got the World DBX from them.

Looks like a decent all-rounder for the price point.
