No one wants the esoteric?

Might have to put these up with the Samson crankset, bottom bracket, brakeset and wheelset at some point in the future.

Many would surely like to have the "esoteric", but it's the typical "entry fee" to such things that makes it quite hard to pull the trigger on it.... combine that with the also typical cheapskate attitude of most C&Vers and it presents a very steep hill to climb just to get into an esoteric component bike build rabbit hole..... But I'm sure, someone here that's just missing those pedals to complete an Assos flavored or ultra weight weenie build, will eventually step up to the plate, being that I've done such things before and surprised myself when I did not feel sorry at all for doing it, in the end......

Yeah. I amassed some decent “esoteric” items that I am not. Sure will ever be used.

IIRC, there was a thread inviting people to present their esoteric C&V bike stuff to the forum. Someone should resurrect it as it's always one of the most interesting topics that the forum can discuss.....I think I have a few that I could present myself....
