What size 26” tires are you looking for: 559mm, 584mm, 590mm, 597mm?

Are you talking about tires with tan sidewalls, or those with thick rubbery sidewalls?

And road tires, or dirt tires? Bike Tires Direct has a constantly changing selection of 26" tires; keep checking. I got my Maxxis DTHs from them, and well worth the $$.

I can understand a desire for a particular look, but whenever I have owned gumwall tires (or "gumballs," as one of my Bikecology coworkers called them), the sidewalls have deteriorated before the tread wore out.

Sorry, don't mean to be vague. Looking for about 2" with off-road tread pattern, and yes, tan sidewalls for that period look.

Yeah I was lucky to get in on the recent Panaracer Smoke and Dart reissues, complete with 40% off coupon, a few months ago. Now they’re just sold out. Kicking myself for not buying more sets back then.

If it is anything like this bike, which I purchased more due to this historic importance to the Denver bike shop business, then it is Hi-Ten Steel, plastic fork crowns, heavy as hell, but also, can take a beating:
