What was my childhood BMX?

I’m hoping you guys can help me figure out what it was. Here’s what I remember about it:
  • Purchased at Sears around 1985
  • chrome frame
  • blue knobby tires
  • blue hard plastic seat
  • grips were white with blue dots from an under layer
  • dual caliper brakes

They also made out in black trim; my brother has that one.

Any idea what they were?

No idea about the model but have you looked in the 85’ Sears catalog?

My childhood was spent on MX and gravel riding as I grew up in Japan. Missed BMX completely.

It was the FS500 in the 1986 Sears Wishbook, pg. 589, pictured at the top: LINK

This was my main Christmas present in 1985. I wish I still had it! If I had it these days, I'd fit blue street tires and a decent seat. (blue, if possible)
