Need help: How to remove brake lever of a Shimano 600
Hello everyone,
I am in need some help removing brake lever on a handle bar of a vintage Norco road bike.
The brake is a Shimano 600.
Inside the brake I saw a nut, but it seems not enough room around for a nut driver to fit.
I am planing to replace the stem with a shorter one.
Any help would be appreciated.
(I cannot attach a photo since I am new)

To dedhed: Thank you for your help.
I did remove the brake cable, and try to loosen the nut with a 8mm wrench, but fail.
I will try it again.
Much appreciated it.
