Because this is the place were it will get the most triggered reactions. At some point, someone must have said why do we need these Bowden cables? Rod brakes work pretty good, they are reliable and we all know how to make adjustments.
Ok, I will admit it, I am not enamored with wireless brakes either, but it is fun to tinker with bicycles.
Remember at one time Shimano came out with pneumatic powered shifters. Honda had a crazy downhill planetary gear set that was purely experimental. Someone's got to do this stuff.
Didn't someone here do a wireless Sturmey Archer shifter? It probably didn't solve any problems, but it had to be interesting to work on.
Ok, I will admit it, I am not enamored with wireless brakes either, but it is fun to tinker with bicycles.

They used the 24X24 calculation to prove their point, 24 hrs at 24,000rpm on the dyno without a single failure or
breaking a sweat.

The CBX wasn't a great bike, but it was awesome from a mechanic's perspective. A friend of mine ran a repair facility and he tore down the CBX engine and marveled at the precision of it all. After looking at it in it's disassembled state I was also in awe. Simply put, the coolest motorcycle ever built.
