Help identifying Raleigh
Does anyone have any idea what Raleigh this is? The handle bar and steam looks rusted but could just be surface rust, but the looks bolted (so I am guessing its some low end bike or could just be an unoriginal part. Owner is asking $50 CAD

A low-end bike that appears to need probably $100 or more spent on it. I would look for another.

appears a RAMPAR serie product manufactured on Formosa
note the bulge-formed head
one's time, energy and purse are too dear to touch something such as this

This doesn’t even look like Rampar! Headset looks wrong, transfers/decals look unlike any Raleigh font or branding I have ever seen. Definitely pass on this!

I believe it’s a record as well, I went through all the catalogs and that’s the closest it looked and with the rack, and yep I’ll pass! It’s not worth the time, thanks guys!

note that OP and cycle are both located in CA
machine likely a product made for Canadian market
Canada market and U.S. market Raleigh products differ

I would agree likely a Nottingham built frame set imported and built up finished by the now defunct Raliegh Canada which brought a lot of low stuff into Canada in the late 70's early 80's and assembled it there to get tax credit and get around heavy import duties. At this time import duties from Canada to the US were nill.
