How to replace broken internal helmet strap?
Hi guys, I have an expensive aero helmet where the plastic part that wraps around the back of your head and tightens broke. I see that one can buy replacement parts for it (see link).
My question is how do you remove the old one? How is it attached? Not clear to me from looking at it, and I don't want to break the attachment. I tried to find a video on this on youtube but couldn't.
This helmet is an older Bontrager Ballista.

I think that they are click-in clips, and assuming the design is the same, it should just be a matter of unclipping the 3 clips, removing the broken assembly, and then insert the new one. You might as well remove the broken one first, before ordering, to verify that it can be done.
If not, get a new helmet. It might be a good idea to replace the old one anyway. They have a finite shelf life.
