Here's mine. Customized with a new saddle, levers, pedals and 38cm drop bars. A hell of a lot of fun to ride to work on and to get me around town. everyone should own a Minivelo.

Cool, i was thinking of picking up a mixie crisscross as an extra bike. Not in love with the high ten steel wish they had gone with 4130.

Do have yours set up as fixed or single speed?

Yeah, I was considering buying the Soma Minivelo, but didn't want to spend that much money. This one was the cheapest I could find, fit for purpose and it's been a lot of fun to ride, so no regrets at all even if it's not the lightest on the market. The chain-line isn't good either, but not a problem really. Also, options in the UK are extremely limited with buying Minivelos.

I live in quite a hilly town, so I've kept it single speed for the downhills. If I decide to upgrade I'll go for a Burls Minivelo.

Wow, I wish, that one's a bit out of my league though. He's got a different one up for sale on his site at the moment that I was looking at with drop bars, derailleurs and carbon fork on a 525 steel frame that looks good

Just purchased a new Soma Mini Velo!!!

Just put it together this afternoon. It is the 55cm frame. I have not had this much fun riding in years. The bike is quick, handles very well, light and stores well. It fits in the Xterra very well. I will post more about it later this week. I'll take pictures also.
One thing I changed out was the seat. I installed my Brooks Champion Special B17, Titanium. What a nice ride the bike has. No regrets purchasing it.

After realizing that my Downtube 9FS was my favorite bike because of the small wheels and the seating position, I decided to either sell or to modify my other two 26" wheel bikes to be 20 inchers.

Here's a previous Frankenbuilt mountain bike converted to 20 inch wheels. I had to add an extension to the front of the swing arm. I added the seat tube relocation triangle to mimic the Downtube seat to crank relationship.

The smaller wheels reduce the trail a lot, giving very quick handling. This is OK for me, since I make a a lot of 90 degree turns on sidewaks. But this isn't for everybody.

Thank you. You broke the code: on my bikes, I'm after comfort, not aerodynamic efficiency (that's for my airplanes!)

I want to sit almost upright, not hunched over, so I have the handlebars very high in relation to the seat. The custom handlebars are also my now-standard "handshake" style instead of any of the traditional styles. In addition to being picky about the seat to crank position, I also have used the Dual Action seat motion for over 20 years. But the seat shown is a very highly modified Hobson EZ seat that mimics the Dual Action seat motion.
