Great bike!

Thank you Origami for recreating the Swift for the 2020’s - cromo and disk brakes! The bike arrived in perfect condition and well packed. Easy to set up. I hope you are making money on it as the price seems too good to be true.
We will attach the 'verified buyer' badge because this review results directly from one of our review requests.Kind regards,

I'm unable to post links as I have not met the requisite 10 posts, but their Youtube channel is @OrigamiBicycleCo.

What a gorgeous bike!
Thank you, I am glad you like it. Now, you have to ride it.

It's absolutely on my radar, but it's a tad expensive for my budget, so I will have to think a bit harder.

I would also intend to migrate my existing TSDZ2 onto the Swift, and I've noticed that you've commented about this on other forums. Where do you mount the batteries in your own installs? Is it seamless to integrate the motor once the proper BCD adapter is used / any issues with the chain line?

we mount the battery on the rear rack. The standard TSDZ2B has a 110 BCD, but I have a supply of 130 BCD connectors. I actually mount the chainring on the back side of the 130 BCD connector and get a perfect chain line.

I have a TSDZ2 and was also considering doing this although it would be on a Xootr frame I already own. Would much rather have the Origami version since it has disc brakes and the luggage mount but already having the Xootr version makes it tough to justify.

Can get up to a 52T 110 BCD wide narrow for $23 on Amazon, wouldn't that work?

Please do share your build if you end up going through with it!

The dream is definitely to have (at least!) two Swifts: one acoustic and one electric. Sigh, perhaps one day.

it does interfere with the fold a bit, but not too bad.

I should ship my Origami Bull back to you, so I can get this done! I'd personally prefer a mid-mounted battery, but I see that might not be a possibility. This though, it looks FANTASTIC!!!

It's common to attach the shark tube battery using the water bottle mounts; you can buy CNC'd brackets for added stability if needed. I just wonder how it would affect the standover height and ride comfort. The way it's mounted on the Swift's rear rack is rather clean, and that's how I would probably do it myself too.

We can do that for you. Mounting the battery is the biggest pain, but after a lot a trial and error we have a pretty good solution.

If anyone is interested in the Swift, Origami has a 15% off coupon for Black Friday through Cyber Monday on their website.

This is a fabulous update. I have a xootr version but the disc brakes and rack really adds functionality. Love the e-bike. Do you ship to the uk?

we have shipped a couple to the UK, but Shipping tends to be rather expensive, and you may get stuck paying import tariff.
