Brake lever hoods for Weimann "red dot" levers - what fits?
Did a search on here and found a link to someone selling Weimann repros but the thread was old and the parts are sadly discontinued.. Really just looking for that vintage looking gum rubber hood that will fit on my Weimann "red dot" levers.
Anything?

Are you keeping the 'safety' levers? If not, the Crane Creek non-aero hoods are cheap and may fit OK. They fit 'well enough' on the Mafac Racer levers on my PX10 (with a tiny bit of trimming). Unfortunately they have an ugly logo on the side...

Yes, Cane Creek non-aero hoods fit perfectly. I've used them on a number of vintage restorations

I bought a few off him some time ago.
Happy to facillitate if needed, but suspect freight might be expensive to the other side of the globe ?

Dia Compe with the punch out for the safety lever are out there.
A person could punch their own holes for safety levers if desired.

Wienmann - Dia-Compe - Cane Creek
My 1964 Bridgestone randonneur style bike that I got when I was in Japan 1964-65 had Weinmann brakes (Huret derailleurs and a Wright saddle too).
Weinmann, a Swiss company and Dia-Compe a Japanese company had an unholy alliance dating back to the 60's when Weinmann was supplying brake components to Japan. Eventually Dia-Compe started manufacturing those brakes themselves.
For many years most of their brakes had interchangeable parts with Weinmann. Dia-Compe opened a US sales operation which became Dia-Compe USA which eventually rolled over into Cane Creek. Here's the story - scroll down:
https://canecreek.com/our-story/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dia-Compe
Original Weinmann hoods from BITD
Here's what those hoods looked like:
Original gum
Original tan
Original white
Black hoods for later style Weinmann levers compared to an original hood lower right. They don't fit properly and looks like hammer smith work.
Dia-Compe hoods: The 167.5 were the same shape as Weinmann hood above. It appears that they came with the holes punched out for suicide levers. They may still be available somewhere. The 144.7 hoods are the newer style and they are currently available badged Cane Creek in black and tan.
Dia-Compe 144.7 style in black and tan with a punch out for suicide levers. I got a set on eBay in 2020. They may still be available.
The current Cane Creek hoods. I like the newer style hoods better. The old Weinmann/Dia-Compe hoods look frumpy.
You can get these direct from Cane Creek in both black and tan:

Some of the hoods suggested by others above are for later model Weinmann levers and they're more like Campy style hoods. They wont fit properly on the original Weinmann/Dia-Compr levers and will look like fecal matter.

Closing Thought
Suicide levers and dork disk....
I've been waiting for a long time to post this picture!
BTW, during the bike boom fad of the early 70's, Weinmann was buying their suicide levers from Dia-Compe. DOH!

I've been happy with these Dia Compes. Color is a bit lighter, but looks good. I've installed them on both Weinmann and Dia Compe clones. UK seller.

I ended up paying the long dollar for a set of NOS Weimann hoods on eBay. Foolish, I know but...

I think these Weinmann "Red Dot" levers were the real deal. Once sold a 1965 Schwinn Super Sport so equipped. VERY RARE! Don

I was just referring to the red pivot pin on my Weimanns. I believe they are pratty common. Didn't know there was even a lever such as yours, which are different, and more rare..

Understood. Almost everyone refers to Weinmann levers with anodized red pivot pins as "red dot" levers now, but if you ever see some like these for low $$, grab em! Don
