Bikes: Most have two wheels, some have one, some have a very large front wheel and tiny rear wheel.

New to me bike, missing the head, but all else is there. The mount pic might be less helpful than the pickup unit shown here.

Thanks in advance

It's just a wheel sensor that goes on the chainstay or fork so wheel revolutions can be counted. And if you don't have the magnet that goes on the spoke, then you don't have anything useful. They don't cost that much and there are never versions I think.

Without the Cateye head unit, it's not useful for anything.

While that reply didn't progress the query forward, it does appear this is the Micro series. Thanks to the users for the offline replies.

Case closed.

So you don't care to update us with what you found out. Or is this to remain a mystery for those of us that aren't enlightened?

Remember -- offline = not from the web. My wife's family consistently says offline when they mean online.

Iride, I respectfully answered to all in my case closed post above. You even quoted the same, thus I wont repeat.

You internet lessons might be well-intentioned, however I didn't request them nor require them.

It just seemed like you were wanting more than simply what series it belonged to.

Iride, thanks but it was a simple and straightforward inquiry with no need for further details.

I've got my head unit in hand now, and while I am $3 lighter in the wallet, I do have a working cyclometer.

I think it's pretty fair to call case closed on this one. OP had a question, and got the answer. It's fairly obscure and the rest of us don't need to know. The only thing left that needs to happen is for @oldnslo to go enjoy some riding.
