Hmmm.....something about bicycle terminology just doesn't lend itself to this sort of put-down, does it?

I'll give my favorite, though it's not bike related:

"He needs a check up from the neck up!"

Doesn't this thread make you want to go out in the garage where no one can see you and try to put your helmet on backwards?

I told my friend this story on a ride, and he promptly took his helmet off and put it on backwards. i told him I wouldn't ride with him if he didn't correct it. I have standards. Kind of.
OK, they're pretty low.

Y'all need to read the thread asking why a rider couldn't wear his underwear on the outside of his riding shorts.

Here is the link:https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ar-OVER-Shorts

The usual 41 beat down is much softer than I expected.

OK you and NOS88 why "she"... by the way do you know how many people (men and women) I run into that actually do have a helmet on backwards???? Apparently (confirmed by Sam83) its a common mistake although I don't understand how.

His helmet has hit the ground to many times, some with his head in it.

His brake cable is a little too loose.

His shifter missed a few gears.

"Tucks his bike jacket into his shorts" (though "tucks his shirt into his underpants" is better)

Any Batchelors will know this makes sense--Saves on washing.

Wear normal on ride one--Then back to front on ride two

Turn inside out and wear right way round- Then back to front

4 rides from one Washing-- Saves on washing powder too.

I think that the cheese has slipped off my cracker.

I've had the flu for 3 days. I've been sleeping (not just laying down, sleeping) around 16 hours per day, aching all over, not eating anything, coughing so much that my sides ache, and generally feeling like I'm walking in a fog.

Not bike related, but one of my favorites is, "a few fries short of a happy meal."
