What's with all the spammers today?

Is it like this every day and I usually don't see them all, or has something changed to let more spammers in than usual today, or they out in force for some reason today, or what?

We had a nest of Chinese spambots register all at once. They've been nuked.

Spammers Jeez I posted a question in another subject area and first response was mumbo jumbo . Had nothing to do with cycling at all. Reported him for taking up forum time and space .

Thanks! I was looking for a "report this post" type of link, but missed that.

Heh heh. I've been dealing with lots of spam in my Postfix server.

Code:
Aug 26 15:36:21 server1 postfix/smtpd[3173]: connect from unknown[174.142.222.X]
Aug 26 15:36:21 server1 postfix/smtpd[3173]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[174.142.222.X]: 554 5.7.1 Client host rejected: cannot find your hostname, [174.142.222.X]; from=<zdzk[at]mylps.com> to=<newfortest80[at]hotmail.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<[174.142.222.X]>Aug 26 15:36:21 server1 postfix/smtpd[3173]: lost connection after RCPT from unknown[174.142.222.3X]
Aug 26 15:36:21 server1 postfix/smtpd[3173]: disconnect from unknown[174.142.222.X]
It's no wonder spammers are trying to use my server as an open relay just to get my IP address blacklisted from Hotmail (my mom and dad are both using it). At least my Postfix server is doing its job blocking open relay attempts.

I know my post have nothing to do with the forum, but a little chat about dealing with spammers would suffice.
