I'd suggest reading some about how tetanus effects the human body. It's pretty gruesome and may get you to change your mind. I've probably had 20 tetanus shots in my life with no ill effects. I'm not saying that no one has ever had a reaction to a vaccine, just that avoiding an extremely painful disease and possible death is better than the minuscule risk posed by the vaccine.

This whole thread reminds me of that.

psychosomatic symptoms are real and should be taken seriously in my opinion. People have literally died from fright, its a thing that can happen. This came up a while ago when I was telling my buddy at work that I was pretty sure I was feeling ill because someone's vaccine had shed, and he asked for a mechanism for how this could be possible.

...this is a very strong argument for not reading and subscribing to vaccine conspiracy theories. If the power of the mind has some control over the wellness of the body, why would you pollute the mind ? Makes no sense. They are connected, and either is subject to harmful infection.

I'm afraid of needles. Type O+ blood, so universal donor. I have to deal with it. I just look away.

In the trauma center with the bone from my shoulder down to my elbow not right (I did my best to get it straight laying on the road), two young Docs come in and they strap up friction gloves. A nurse has three vials of **** with needles and she is clearly scared ****. The little Doc says, we are just going to examine you. In my mind, I am like right, you are going ro reset my humerus. After they did it, I apologized how much of a ***** I was and asked what they hell did they do to the guy in the next room as he was yelling bloody murder. Docs says, he would not take a tetanus needle. The guy was screaming full bore but never got the shot. Little Docs also said, Sir, you are not a *****. I almost went into shock, they could have given me something. They sent the psychosomatatron home to die

I may have been overdue for a tetanus booster but after a dog bite a few months ago they gave me the fancy TDAP. Why not? Needles are smaller and less painful than they used to be.

Man-pain that is indescribable >>

1) - Passing a kidney stone
2) - Having a Foley Catheter tube quickly shoved into one's urethra until it makes its was to the bladder

Never dealt with #1
As far as #2, I had an overzealous nurse who following my saturation transperineal 3 Dimension Prostate MAPPING Biopsy took pleasure in completing the task at hand

Have had both and a shot by comparison is a non-event. The needles these days are so tiny and sharp, it’s tough to tell when you get injected - but I am seeing cubes everywhere.

As far as those who refuse vaccinations, I see it as Darwin in action.

I get my INR checked every week. I don’t like needles, but it doesn’t bother me.

Whenever I have a procedure that requires me the stop my Warfarin, I have to shoot up Lovenox into my belly fat twice a day.

After my first heart surgery, the Foley that I didn’t know I had in came out. (It must have been inserted while I was under anesthesia.) An ICU nurse asked me if I had pulled it out. I responded “Yeah, I saw a plastic tube sticking up my **** and thought it would be a good idea to pull it out.” I really did say that. I also told her that she would not be putting it back in while I was conscious.

Such a world most certainly exists. I read about it on the Dark Web.
