Out front for last 10 minutes of the crit together - the guy in front won, I got swallowed up just before the last corner.

NO KIDDING!!! That's the type of guy that I always look to bridge to. You know that even if you work 50/50 with a guy like that you're going to be a lot fresher than he will be.

Just been going through some photos from this year. Here are a few from my club's spring crit series. I was racing in the support crit, sort of like the 5s. This was my first proper go at crits and I had a great time. Best result was something like 7th IIRC as I have a poor (nonexistent) sprint.
This one was in heavyish rain. The front is a good place to be when it's that wet:
Much nicer weather. First go on new wheels:
Pain face:

Club hill climb, in which I got a disappointing joint 6th. Not a surprise after weeks of little riding though.

Lol, we're not allowed to let our hands off the bars for a win, else we are disqualified.
Major Mantra, I have a Scott Addict R3 almost exactly like yours and absolutely love it. I'm on 3T stuff too, but Fizik and Zipp. Love that frame. Great pics. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment! I actually did upgrade immediately after that race (figured you'd have seen that if you were trolling my results ), and didn't even have close to the number of points required to upgrade then (won a couple of road races but most of my results came in TT's this past season).

I'm diggin' the guy on the vintage steel bike. That was me during my first race season (2007) in the D's. It was my most successful season until 2011, in which I won 3 races and placed 2nd in two more, all field sprints in the 4's.

word, thanks man! your buddy, the uofA guy and me basically made the race exciting/hard for everyone else. i think i may have yelled at him at one point just letting him know I was to his right (between him and the curb) and I think he took it personally because he was really apologetic after the race he rode well though. he got 3rd I think.

This is from the 55+ race at last August's Mid-West Masters Regional Championship. It was a hot and humid 95 degrees in SW Ohio that day. We were the chase group in the RR, I did win the field sprint and finished 3rd.
