300 Miles a month Club - June Edition :)

Ok. It's time we stepped into June. This reminds me of my commission selling days... Start back at 0 every month.

So I figured we needed a 300 mile club as many members in the 200 were at 300 or very close to it so this is the next push.

Post up what you got!!

I'll start:
I'm at ZERO miles for the month.

Actually, I was thinking about this: am I still valid if I do 200 on the bike and 100 in Vomero 5's?

If so, I got 5.7 on the run this morning.

I am so far at 0 miles for June. However, I'm am planning on starting to do a 16 mile (one way) commuter 4 days a week once my new rim comes in. This will put me at around 500 miles a month as long as I stick with it. I have never commuted on a bike except back when I was like 15 and had no other choice (back then I probably road close to 350-400 miles a month though..... wish me luck on the commute.

I'm in ... Currently at zero for the month, that will change tonight after work.

Eyeing a 20-mile ride tonight, then I'm probably shutting it down (might do a very short ride on Friday) until my century on Sunday.

I'm in. By the end of the month it might be more or less but 300 is a good number to shoot for. Zero so far but I'm going out for a short ride later.

I'm at 22. Don't think I will have a problem making 300. Starting an 8-day tour in Montana with some mountains on June 30th. The first day will be 65 miles. If I don't do 213 miles between today and Jjune 29th when we fly out, I am going to be hurting during the trip.

I swallowed a number of bugs last night as well. I kept running into what felt like huge clouds of little bugs; I couldn't close my mouth quick enough! I think extra points should be awarded.

Sounds like a wonderful challenge - I hope I get some nice weather so I do not have to count any trainer miles.

June01-11: 15.8
June02-11: 20.2+20.2 (commute)

Total: 56.2

I am only counting the protein for the 2 I swallowed. I still have 2 lodged to the back of my throat on that downhill run at 20+. I am guessing 3g of protein.
