Gonna be tough because I will be out of town until the 6th, but I like a challenge, and hit 220 miles a little too easily last month. So put me down for 300.

I'm in to try this again. If I can keep the wheels on the bike, I'm pretty sure I can do this!
I got started this evening in the near record heat!
9/2 - 19 miles
19 miles completed
281 miles to go

63 miles. 21%
Weatherman said it was going to pour all day today and tomorrow, and it'll be clear on Monday. So I decided I'll make my 100 mile attempt on Monday and rest today and tomorrow. But then I looked outside, beautiful clear blue skies. Honestly, the weatherman hasn't even been close to accurate in over a month now. I'm not sure why I even bother listening.
So I decided to try out a 30 mile hill route I had planned out a few weeks back. In my haste to leave I forgot to review the route to make sure it was really 30 miles, so I started worrying along the way that I may have taken a longer-than-30 mile route. Bothersome for 3 reasons: It was hot as hell out, I only had 30 miles worth of water, and there are no gas stations or stores on the route.
Sure enough, the hills and the heat killed me. Felt like puking for a while. Realised that my new 27 tooth low gear is still not nearly low enough for some crazy ass steep hills. Cadence fell to 50 at times on some of the hills. Luckily, what goes up must come down, so the 2nd half of the trip I got to descend those 1000 feet I just climbed. Unfortunately I took a wrong turn and accidentally shortened the trip by 5 miles to make it 25 instead of 30. Oh well. It was hot as hell, I can do without the extra 5.

I rode 286 last month and it was my first month riding a bike. I found I had to take some days to rest my body. I noticed I had some numbness in my hands while riding, tweeked my back at the end of the month doing something else and missed some days. I hope to exceed 300 in Sept, also turning 47 in Sept. Fighting to stay in shape

Both Gina and I did 300+ last month so we will try again. Today was only 15, a hilly 15 on a hot day. 3 day weekend so we got plenty of time.
A HOT 15 miles to start for the both of us.

Sign me up for 300 this month. Last month I hit 240, and with school in full swing now I hope I can get to 300.
9/2 - 33.2 miles --> nice and hilly in the middle, but I tanked at mile 28 and kinda limped back home

Getting older and slower!
I'm in as well.
1st, 18 miles
3rd, 40 miles
5th, 22 miles
Have family duties two weekends, but also have a century scheduled so it is very doable.
