Acquiring Pearl White Benotto Cello-tape

After more than a year since my buddy's PH12 was completed, sans bar tape, I decided to pull the trigger on what the bars were originally wrapped with - Pearl White Benotto Cello-tape. eBay seems to be "out". Can anyone point me in the direction so I can finally button this project up?
Thanks gang!

Interesting. Are they making this stuff again? Doesn't look anything like what I remember. Have a couple bags down in the dungeon, but no pearl, alas.

Beautiful! Glad to see you were attentive to the white tape as a finishing touch. Very nice.

Pearl White benotto tape looks different than opaque white. It is beautiful and I did have a hard time finding it. Eventually I found it at yellow jersey. I put it on my pH 12 centennial. Awww yeah it looks great! It is downright angelic stuff.

Sure. I don't have any need for it, so you can have it for the price of a postcard.
You send me a postcard from your part of the world and I send you the bar tape.

How's that?

Super old thread, but I'm looking for some pearl white Benotto tape as well in the year 2023. I bought some white Benotto tape and only then did I realize white isn't pearl white.

Wow, blast from the past! I remember that Peugeot.

Looking in the parts bin, it looks like I have a nice, muted silver NOS pack of Benotto cello tape. No pearl, sadly.

Let me know if you can stray from your vision, PoorInRichfield and I'd be happy to pass my Benotto along.

PoorInRichfield I don't know if these are pearl or "just" white, but you can definitely tell.
Accessori bici - Biciclette In vendita a Siena (subito.it)

although these are pearl for sure, I think it worth the extra 10 bucks for not messing with Italians

the end caps are designed to be used like the Cinelli caps, cap first, start the wrap there, work to the stem, be sure to cut a strip to hide the brake lever band, finish off near the stem or at the center collar and finish off by applying heat via a lighter, hold closed with a leather gloved hand. How it was done at the bike shop, circa 1980’s. The end was essentially fused in position.
