Hello from Victoria - Australia
Hey all, new to the forums and relatively new to what I guess is serious riding. I'm not really new to bikes, but it is many a year (counted in decades) since I rode one seriously. The last time I rode one as a means of exercise I lived in the Sydney Hills area and nearly collapsed from exhaustion. But that was over twenty years ago and I'd obviously forgotten from my kid years how energetic ones needs to be to ride a bike, (I'd also forgotten to be energetic through that time).
I'm not super fat but I am big and I am tall, I ride a 29 inch MTB mainly on the road, but I've been breaking a few spokes lately and I came across the thread here about heavy riders so I decided to sign up and see what other information was about.

Welcome.
Lots of good info & inspiration in the Clydesdale forum.
Consistency over years is the key.
Burn-out to be avoided.
