WTB Ranger tires on Mavic a719 wheels fitment???
Hi everyone. Was curious if anyone here is running WTB Ranger 29x2.4 or 29x2.8's on their Surly Ogre without fitting issues. I'm also planning to mount these to my Mavic a719 wheels with tubes. Does anyone know if I'll have issues with this? I have this on my Curly Ogre because I really like the rims. They are super strong. Just wanted to know If I can get a WTB 29x2.8 on there or even the 29x2.4 will be fine too.

Surly's are really good at fitting WIDE tires. I have 3, working on building up a Krampus now. Check the spec sheets for the Orge, Fits 29x 2.5 tires. Rims and tires specs vary, just try say the mavis 2.6 recon.

Do measure the internal width yourself to be sure, and then look at and compare the various charts that will turn up. Ive run 2.5's on a couple of bikes, but cannot recall the exact inner width, but from memory they were at the far end of recommendations, but worked fine.
