What are you comparing this to? Don't compare the kilo tt's geometry chart to another bike's chart while you're only going to get a kilo tt. You're wasting your time. Focus on the geometry/ the numbers of the kilo tt. If you have a bike that you like the fit of, try to get the geometry chart of that and base your choice kilo tt size from that if you can.

As for measurement, it shouldn't matter considering all sizes are measured this way. From what I read, it seems dan is right that you should order size a 55cm.

If you're this concerned about proper fit, how about you spend the extra money so you can try and then buy your bike at a bike shop for piece of mind?

Thanks for the help, I think I've decided on the 55cm then. My LBS has a moderately small collection of bikes, they do not carry any track bikes.

Anytime. Good move.

I think the person who you should thank the most here is Dan, his replies to your questions go back some 5 hours today. I just came to the party late.

Hmmm just realized this the 55cm Kilo TT has a standover of 32 inches. My inseam was measured to be 32.25 with pressure applied to mimic saddle pressure... will I have standover issues?

Are you going to be riding it or standing over it?

Haha, I see your point, but wouldn't it make getting off extremely difficult?

Sure, if you dismount a bike with your nutsack.

lol, Nagrom what is your opinion of a 55cm Kilo for my measurements? Considering that you ride a 55cm when your inseam is a bit longer, and you are a bit taller.

I'm going to be ordering today, along with some grease and pipe cutters to chop and flop my handles.

Damnit, sent my measurements to Bikes Direct and they recommended a 53cm to me... why is this so difficult.

I'm so ****ing sick of Kilo TTs.

I honestly think NASA had an easier time with manned space travel than most people have picking the right size bike.

If our measurements our this close, me being a bit bigger, and I ride a 55, and say its a bit small, a 55 would fit you, exactly like your fit calculator results say, and exactly like the whole of this forum says.

But go ahead and get the 53 because site that suggests sizes based on height alone knows best.

Not all that much, if anything a slightly shorter stem. Which is not a big deal.
