All of my bikes run different tires with different pressure ratings which I can never remember so I always mount the tire with the stem next to the psi rating. But as I said above, all of my bikes are "wrong."

Besides the obvious issue of riding a damp clay singletrack on 32mm slicks, what else is wrong with this bike?
Let’s see; flat pedals, downtube friction shifters, and who the heck still uses a SoftRide stem?
Less obvious are the 6-speed freewheel, 27” rims, and “gasp” aluminum frame!
Who else has a favorite bike that’s totally ‘wrong’ by the BF rules?

It's been turned into the subject of a troll thread?
Glad you like your bike, I don't get why saying I'd prefer to ride something else is declaring that bike "wrong."
Feel free to tell me to lighten up, but you're the one who chose to frame this as an argument for some reason.

Not defensive, just a tad cranky. I probably overreacted, but I'm just getting sick of the "everything is an argument" style of thread in these here parts.
I would probably hate riding that bike, but wouldn't dream of calling it "wrong".
I didn't know "roast my bike" was a thing, but I think the whole concept of roasts hit its sell-by date at least 15 years ago so I would have skipped it if I knew what it was.

It's a mystery to me why people do it, is it because they want to hear all the harsh opinions people don't usually share or it it that their feeling of self worth is so low that when they do they are automatically negative as in "hey guys, I know this is **** but what do you think"....
Your bike's nice man, no need to feel bad about it, the way you customise it is part of it's character and a reflection of you, if you like it, be proud.

My feelings when I see a bike like that is a mix of nostalgia because it's the kind of thing I used to ride and relief I don't have to ride it anymore.
I'm happy to see those kind of bikes get some love.I still love looking at them.

I have a Serotta Atlanta and a 1995 Allez Pro, both lugged steel frames. Shimano 600 on both--I'd fix you before I'd let you fixie either of them.

But notice how absolutely clean the bike is with down tube shifters. And it is a lugged frame bike brazed up by a real person, rather than a robot making weaker butt welds.
