Can anyone help me identify my Diamond Back bike

I got my bike second hand around 2017 and paid forty dollars. It looks like a ladies mountain bike & its original colour is purple. The person I purchased the bike from said he did use spray paint to cover up spots but left as much original paint intact as possible. I have never been able to identify it beyond it having a couple stickers saying Diamond Back. I have contacted Diamondback twice and they have no record of the serial number. The serial number is I3L14817

Post pictures or a link to pictures.
So far it sounds like your bike is a DiamondBack branded purple colored women's mountain bike.

Yep, so post 5 times today, 5 times tomorrow on various threads that may interest you, then come back to this one and upload some pictures. I'm almost positive we'll get your bike identified, w/ just a few pictures.

The "3L" in the serial number suggests it's a 1993 (12th fortnight of '93) or 1994 (December '93) bike. Closest catalog entry is for 1995 - https://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2...ument.pdf.html - closest match is indeed an Outlook. Entry level bike.

Entry level Diamondback Traverse Step Thru from the late 90s. Best guess.

Reasons for this guess...
The seatpost clamp is not QR.
The fork is rigid.
The frame is steel.
Dropout shape.
The seapost clamp is on the back of the seat tube and not the front.
Canti brakes are used instead of Vbrakes.
Crankset and RD spec and brand/model.

Diamond Back 1994 model components

Traverse: Shimano crankset, Shimano Altus C50 Rapidfire UniLever

Outlook: SR Suntour crankset, topmount shifters.

Based on the OP's album, looks like Outlook components.

I recognize this bike. It's the same serial number and the components look the same. I'm fairly sure the components that it had when I sold it were a velo anatomica seat, cantilever center pull brakes (leechi), Shimano rear derailer, shimano shifters, the crank shaft said sakae & a lance unicrown fork. The freewheel said Shimano MF-HG20 somewhere on it.
