It's a terrible picture, but basically, you have this footbridge that empties into the parking lot with these about 3 foot high barriers to keep people from driving on it. The first two guys missed the barrier and the third guy apparently wasn't paying attention. Ran dead center right into one of those barriers and flew through the air.

This happened when I was about 9 or 10, my brother dared me to do a U-turn in the street at full speed like he had just done, because he didn't think I could do it.
I didn't make the turn. The bike rammed full speed into the curb and I flipped over the handlebars, did a somersault in mid air and landed on my feet on the neighbor's lawn before I knew what happened. I think my gymnastics skills went into auto-pilot. I wasn't hurt, bike wasn't hurt.
My brother just stood there speechless and I started laughing so hard I couldn't stop.

Not to mention superior MS paint skills. Surfkitty deserves an award for that post.

I don't ride a single or fixie, but it seems the people in this thread have an appreciation for a) the misfortune of others and b) MS Paint. So here's my misfortune!

I have no memory of the mishap or that day at all. I just remember waking up with a concussion and some road rash.
