Guerciotti w/ Panto Parts-a-Plenty!
Found this at a recycle center today for 350$, needs some work and obviously has some rust issues but no damage and doesn't appear to have been ridden much. Any idea what year it is? Ideas on value?? Did I overpay???

Cool! it's good to see really nice pantographing for something other than a Colnago for a change!
Could be towards the mid 80's as the details are pretty much typical for that time....
BTW, make sure you check the fork.....it could be bent, but hopefully, it might be just the angle of the pic....

looks like a bent fork to me too. nice parts, but its in kind of rough shape and will probably need an overhaul. tough to say if you overpaid or not- depends on possible damage to frameset.

The fork looks fine to me. Looking at the SR group I think it probably an '84 or '85. The pantographed SR group is worth more than you payed for the whole bike!

Fork looks good on the two later pics....as long as the back of the fork legs are parallel to the head tube, it should be OK.
That should make out to be a really fine classic 80's Italian bike project!
Congratulations on the great find!

my name is Jim
I'd '84-'85 also as they changed the graphics in '84-'85 and this has the later graphics. Parted out and sold on Ebay worth at least $1000. Those panto parts go for a very good price.

Thanks for the info everyone! Here it is after an initial cleaning, most of the rust came right off but there's still a few stubborn spots.
