Raleigh Competition GS - 1984
Hello bike enthusiasts, I have a Raleigh Competition bicycle from England that belonged to my husband. I remember he purchased it in 1983, was stolen, and then purchased another one several months later, so I'm guessing it was in 1984. He loved this bike so much back when we were dating. But this bike has spent more years in storage than in use! It is in really great shape. Now that my husband is no longer with us, my kids and I have decided it's time for it to find a new home. I am wary of selling it at our upcoming yard sale, since I clearly remember my husband purchasing it for $1,000. Any input from bike experts would be so appreciated. I've tried to attach a few photos, but I get a message that says I can only post photos after I've posted on this site 10 times. Oh well. Thank you sincerely to all who send me some advice.
