Hatcher Cycles
What is the story behind this bike and Hatcher Cycles? This bike definitely is a Peugeot based on the lug design, but has been modified with Japanese components.

Hatcher Cycles was a bike shop here in Minneapolis and Rockford, MN. Evan Hatcher owned it, sold bikes, did restorations, and I'm pretty sure he built a handful of frames too.
He repainted bikes as part of doing restorations, and would rehab old bikes with a new paint job and replacement parts as needed, including putting Hatcher decals on some.
He was a nice guy, but I always got the impression he had issues with the demon rum.

He was pretty much the goto shop if you were doing restoration on balloon tire bikes and prewar stuff. He's been dealing with Parkinson's for a long time. I've only had good interactions with him.
