Little introduction
Hey guys first time poster here, I have been lurking the forums awhile now ever since I started riding and decided it was time to join up. I was always a car guy and still am with modding and upgrading my Audi and have posted in forums and everything but once I got into college I needed to find something to do and found that I loved riding. So my first bike was a 2010 Bianchi Pista Chrome, I rode it a lot but never really changed out anything on it expect for some wheels and handle bars. Here is a picture of it how it stood when I sold it.
It was a nice bike and I put loads of miles on it every day but I always wanted something a little newer and something I really could build up. So while searching Craigslist and other online sites I came across my new bike, also it was in my price range. The original owner rode it only a hand full of times and no longer rides so was looking to get rid of it. I made the drive from Minnesota to Chicago to get the bike. Some will say thats crazy but here in MN you don't see to many like this and its actually the one I wanted. Here is it.
Those are pictures when I first brought it home, it now has, new bar tape, and seat. I plan on upgrading the bottom bracket,crank and some other things.

Build threads suck for the most part because they don't provide any information that people don't already know. A lot of times they actually provide bad information. This is way worse though because nobody cares about your life circumstances. The pics of the bikes are nice. There's a thread for bike pics and I would have been happy to see them there. As it is, you are spamming the forum just to see yourself in print.

Nice bikes, by the way. I ride a Bianchi San Jose. A SS/FG cyclocross bike.

Build threads suck for the most part because they don't provide any information that people don't already know. A lot of times they actually provide bad information. This is way worse though because nobody cares about your life circumstances. The pics of the bikes are nice. There's a thread for bike pics and I would have been happy to see them there. Thank you for the kind words, I see that the gods have spoken but thats okay I should have known better, hopefully they will forgive me and I can learn much from here. as for my next bike it will most likely not be for a while so I will have to keep my eyes out for something that strikes my fancy.

Ignore the build thread haters. Many if not most of us enjoy them. There are specialist threads where you can show your fixed gear or geared bike, and you should use them where appropriate (it's why they were set up), but a good build thread can be a lot of fun. Actually, a bad build thread can be a lot of fun too depending on how it's been hijacked - the current fashion is food. Just go with the jokes, I do and I'm notoriously hard to get on with.

Ignore the build thread haters. Many if not most of us enjoy them. There are specialist threads where you can show your fixed gear or geared bike, and you should use them where appropriate (it's why they were set up), but a good build thread can be a lot of fun. Actually, a bad build thread can be a lot of fun too depending on how it's been hijacked - the current fashion is food. Just go with the jokes, I do and I'm notoriously hard to get on with.
When you make buffalo wings, is it best to deep fry or pan fry them? I usually pan fry.

yeah this isn't a build thread, I like just looking at what people do for ideas and seeing what has worked for them and what has not. being from other forums and such our go to method is dogs for when a thread goes off the cliff haha. I will learn where and what to post I just thought it would have been nice to just put a little introduction but I am sure it was wrong in which I apologize.

Pan Fry is totally the way to go.
What kind of rack are you running on your roof? Additionally what year/model is your audi. Im in an '11 and looking for a roof rack that wont break the bank.

They are Thule Aeroblades, I found that they cut down on wind noise and they don't look huge on car. My Audi is a 2005 s4, the rack I found online that fit 2010-2011 but also fit my older model perfectly. The price isn't bad for what you get.

Nothing wrong with what you have now, just like there's nothing really wrong with a Mexican-built Jetta.

Welcome to the forums. Love the new bike (and the old one). I actually have the wheels from a Sei Giorni on my bike. I don't super love them, but they were on the bike when I got it from craigslist so I just left them there until I can find something else that I like better. Definitely keep us posted as you make upgrades/modifications. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff (I think most of us are).
