Stuck bearing cage

Update from my last post, I've gone through my BB bearings to get everything out as there was no chance any of it was moving, I've got the bearings and spindle out however I'm left with the bearing cages still in the frame, looking unlikely they'll move. What should I use to get these out? Will WD40 be enough as oil? Thanks

Those are outer races.

Good penetrant like PB blaster or Kroil to soak and driven out with a hammer and drift.

Something like this.

When you use the hammer and punch method, don't try to drive it out all at once, go around the race and drive it out gradually. If you try to just bash it out at one spot you will just jam it in the bore.

Yeah, I've done all the research on how to actually take it out, but just having problems with loads of stuff getting stuck/seizing, thanks though.

If you're not trying to save paint heating the outside of the shell will help both to get penetrant in and assist in driving out.
