My brain hurts, what's that frame...

...the "urban" bike frame, with the two top tubes on it, sold as an urban or city frame, etc etc... anyone know what I'm talking about? I've been googling for 30 minutes and my brain hurts now... I thought I saw it on bikecult.com or nycbikes.com but can't seem to find it anymore... anyone? anyone? Thanks...

The style (seldom seen anymore) with the two long top tubes that extend from the headset alongside the seatpost and down to the rear dropouts?

That's a Mixte frame, supposedly a compromise that has the easy-to-mount ability of the usual "girl's" frame, but structurally stronger.

I saw a bike in DC the other day that was not a mixte frame. It had two stout top tubes, one about three or four inches below the other. I wish I had remembered the brand. The bike was yellow and had obviously seen a lot of action.

Hampton Crusier had beach crusiers that had two top tubes a few years ago. Not exactly an urban assault bike.

Yeah it wasn't a mixte, the tubes only connected to the seat tube... gah. It was marketed more as an urban utilitarian frame than an assault frame... Thanks for the ideas though
