Mystery Frame, looks nice
Hello, there is a neat looking frame for sale here in Minneapolis. Looks likes really nice lugwork to my eye. The seller does not who made the frame, but fortunately it looks like it is in one piece. The seller guessed maybe Chris Kvale, but it seemed to just be a guess.
I am going to look at it tonight so I can look for details or take any pictures that might help figure our what it is. I'd also like to ask if the seller is interested in keeping most of the parts, and just selling the frame. But as is, what do you think this mystery frame is and/or worth?
Thanks in advance,
Twolve

I suppose anything is possible but if you want, you can certainly contact Chris Kvale, who is still actively making bikes, and provide photos and the serial number. Whatever it is, it does appear to be well made and it does exhibit details that indicate it is a quality build.
Some Kvale bikes have a pantographed fork crown, but perhaps not all do or did. The absence doesn't necessarily mean anything.

presence of a Brampton Victor type seat cluster usually indicates an anglophone origin
slightly surprised by the simple treatment of taper tube ends to frame ends; artisan builders typically employ this location for some self expression...
our framebuilder members are sure to be able to comment with illumination...
