Photos of some interesting old steel bikes that were displayed in the Specialized lobby museum in 2013. Covid ended the public from going in there, so I think these bikes have been put in storage. I had a hand in many of these bikes. Click on the link to see the photo set.

Such nice bikes. Any chance you could comment on what tubing was used on the Sequoias? Or at least did it change a lot over the first few years?

Are my eyes going funny or are those oval TA chainrings??

Beautiful bikes, my heart lies with the hot pink Stumpy. But my brain chooses the Sequoia for all around road riding.

Around 1992, I was sitting on my porch in Urbana, IL and a guy rode up to the house across the way on a red Allez. Something clicked in my head and I decided to start cycling.

I can never see enough pics of red Allez. Great pics!

I’ll take the spare parts rack! The bikes, of course are some real eye candy. Thanks for sharing.

I've always liked Specialized Stumpjumpers and I'd love to find a Sequoia one of these days.

Thanks for sharing Portlandjim. I love my Allez SE and I’ll be interested to see how it rides compared to my Strawberry once I finish getting that put together.

I remember seeing the pink stumpjumper at all the shows. A bike that shook up the industry!
