With the British pound down, is it a good time to buy a Brompton?

Just did a google search and all I came up with is US sellers. How can I get British sellers?

I've been wondering the same thing as well since Brexit. I want to let my wife use my M6L and I want to pick up an S2E with the titanium front fork and rear triangle.
You can search the UK Brompton Dealers which are significantly cheaper however the ones I looked at don't ship to the US. Maybe someone here knows of a UK dealer that does ship and how much the shipping will be.
You may be able to negotiate a US Brexit discount with your local dealer. Especially if the dealer is buying in the bikes in british pounds then they will have the same profit margin even if they sell at a discounted price. OTOH if their contracts are just in US prices from Brompton then it will be Brompton that will make a larger profit.
I'll probably ask the current US dealer that I am trying to come up with a custom order with once I decide to commit.

Doubt if Bromptons will get cheaper. Afaik small manufacturer get their parts direct from source in Japan via EU handlers or from large warehouses in Germany. It is not know if import tariffs will be placed on EU sourced parts in the future. UK cycling looks to be more expensive in the future.
I realise the weak pound may help imports.

And the existing inventory already in North America would not be affected.
perhaps if someone were going to travel to Britain anyway, and was so inclined, their USD$ would be exchanged at a more favorable rate. I suspect it would be like catching a small 'sale' ..... at best.
I'm with bhkyte....doubt it will be a blip on the radar in terms of Retail pricing in US.

Bromptons sets US prices in dollars, so short term currency fluctuations won't change anything. Brompton would have to lower their US dollar pricing.
I believe Brompton forbids UK dealers from selling to the US market, to protect us dealers. If you shop UK online stores, they'll happily sell you anything, except Brompton parts and accessories.
If you can go to the UK and ship a Brompton back, you might save a pretty penny (not sure what shipping costs would be, though).

I think that's the best price you're likely to find, from an authorized dealer at least. Brompton keeps a tight reign on prices (kind of like Apple).

10% off is actually pretty comparable to the UK pricing factoring in the exchange rate + shipping and no tax since I'm buying out of state. At 10% I wouldn't put up with the hassle of trying to track down a UK dealer.
I've emailed them my configuration since it's not available on their configurator...
Black Edition with White Frame S2E-X w/ Kojaks
Still awaiting a response and Paypal Invoice (paying through Paypal also gets you 6 mos no interest no payments)

In fact, I'm heading to the UK in a few weeks and am thinking of packing my dahon in such a suitcase. Icelandair allows 2 free airline legals between North America and Europe.

Gonna be pretty pissed if they email me after the sale and say they can't complete the order.

Only today its reported that the US ambassador in London is repeating the warning that following brexit the UK will go the the back of the queue when it comes to trade deals with the USA, so I doubt you'll be getting reduced prices on Bromptons and time soon.

The idea that loads of EU or bilaterial trade deals are activity or successfully occurring frequently seems to be a falicy outside the EU.
I voted remain partly because of this.

I already have my Brommie - but I found a C bag for a total of $120 US$, including shipping, from a dealer in UK. Includes frame. I found one for less, but the dealer would not ship to USA.
Definitely due to currency drop, because the price in UK pounds was not far off normal (it was on sale).

Condor Cycles. Apparently one of the original and oldest Brompton dealers.
There was at least one other dealer with a lower price last week, but no USA shipping.
Still waiting on mine to arrive, but I just double-checked the PayPal payment - $127 for C bag, frame, and rain cover, including shipping.
