Another "What is it?" thread
I am curious if anyone can identify a folder that my brother-in-law's brother (who knows nothing about bicycles) purchased for my brother-in-law (who did not see it prior to the purchase)?
View showing industrial strengh frame hinge using a quick release, and long, standard (or very close to standard) diameter seat post.
I had though all of the writing on it was Chinese; but after finding out that Osan Air Base is in South Koreo, I wonder.
It seems to be only slighly heavier than my Dahon speed P8; and the ride is extremely solid and smooth, helped no doubt by the mountain bike tires. The upturned handlebars attached to an elongaged, quick release threaded stem, are high enough for a comfortable, slighly bent over stance.
Although the top of the seat tube is slightly higher than on my speed and Mu P8's, the seat post is about a foot too short. So my question is, is there such a thing as a seat post approximately as long as Dahon's, but of standard diameter? Is this even mechanically possible without it cracking?
Thank you
