Mounting hard to fit tires video
I was riding with a couple friends over the weekend, and one of them had a flat. He was PISSED!!! I asked him why he was so mad. He said his tires were impossible to remount once they were off the rim to replace the tube. Long story short, and after he watched in amazement as I popped the tire onto the rim without too much trouble (a good friend showed it to me years ago), I decided this was a pretty good topic to create a YouTube video for. Many of you may already know the trick to seating hard to mount tires on the rim, but I hope this help a few folks who don't.
By the way, how about that Doug Henning thumbnail???? lol
Here's the link to YouTube (I'm getting my channel rolling again, so I hope you like it enough to subscribe):

Your video is annoying. Too much talking, saying the same thing over and over. Get to the point already. "Here's the trick..." more talking, no trick. I couldn't make it more than a few minutes before I had to fast forward. I never did make it to the end. Shoot for 2-3mins MAX.

thank you for sharing! I knew about getting a tire into the channel but I like your demonstration & positioning & technique at about 8:30. the positioning with the far end against your hip & using that squeeze & pull technique
there are several threads about how to mount stubborn tires so this is a helpful addition, for me

A good technique for a tight tire/rim.
In my experience, it works better if you start opposite the stem (YRMV).
Without the stem to deal with, you have just a little more space to recess the bead.

Yes, that's the standard trick for motorcycle tires.
Also, in lieu of tire lube used with motorcycle tires, you can spit on the rim at the tight spot to act as a lube.

Interesting. I also have a tip for this; don't buy stiff tires. I only have this issue with stiff sidewall tires.

Only tires I've ever had issues with are Kenda KWest K193 100 PSI 406 tires on my mini velo. Broke some plastic levers. Almost broke teeth straining. Ended up using a screwdriver.
100 PSI tires on a 20inch wheel, yep, it's tough, so little wiggle room. But man do those tires roll.
I now carry steel spoons with me. Also bought a Kool Stop Tire Bead Jack.
Thanks for the video.
