Facilitators 2016 Update - Can you facilitate a bike sale from your area?

No one cares
It can be, but luckily I don't go every day. When i do, I work on the train so the commute time is included in my work day. I can't complain.

I've got the same stipulations. Willing to help in Louisville, Ky.
I've facilitated several times in the Boston area and am willing to do it again, but ask that the buyer take care of all negotiations and payment before I get involved. I don't want to be in a position to recommend or reject the sale except in really obvious cases (e.g., the frame is clearly bent).

Bumped with a dozen or so updates, up through the_freewheeler in post number 36. Thanks, everyone.

Remember y'all, adding your name to this list doesn't require you to do anything but consider helping on a local facilitation under the right circumstances. OTOH, don't add your name if there's too narrow a chance that things will line up in the right way to do so.
Next slow night I'm stuck at work, I'll send out a second "Last Call" request to former facilitators who've not responded. Then purge them if I don't hear from them and ask a moderator to make this thread the stickie.

I am padding my post count because I cannot respond to PMs with fewer than 10 posts.

I had received an inquiry about helping to facilitate with a purchase in Utah, but I wasn't able to respond to the PM because of my low post count. Pardon me for increasing my post count in this way.

It's fine, really. They make you jump through hoops, and your willingness to do it earns you the rights to participate with us.

There is another much longer facilitator's thread, somewhere.
Replying here gives a bump to anybody subscribed.
I can facilitate anywhere in the Eugene/Springfield Oregon area. It is kind of a small city, so pickings can be slim. However, Bike Fridays do pop up regularly.
