Greetings from CT
Hi there, just restarting cycling again after many years away. As part of my cancer recovery I picked up a an spotless 15 yr old Cannondale and am just waiting for a sunny day. (Ok, it's sunny today, but with 30 mph winds)
Good to be hear, more soon,
Steve

Welcome to BF....Also in CT. Lots of good back roads to explore here.
I also have a few Cannondales in my collection.
Plenty of forums to explore here too.

Welcome. Yep, this wind doesn’t make for good riding. Tomorrow should be better.

Welcome aboard!
This site has pretty much anything you can think of related to cycling (and health and middle age manliness and Cannondales and...). You’re gonna wanna learn the best photo loading method for you (many different ways to do that and no two users are alike) because this place has little patience for blah blah blah. “Pics or it didn’t happen!” is a common response, but always meant with love.
Enjoy the ride!

CT born & raised here, now retired and living in SE Asia. Health issues keeping me from cycling for now but hoping to be able to start soon after some 30 yrs off a bike!
In the mean time I've been enjoying reading this forum, learning what I can (so many damned acronyms!), and hoping to make some sort of informed purchase decision once I'm able to ride again hopefully in a few months.
Cheers to all you CT guys (and gals) out there!

Really? Dang, I figured Illinois was 50th. We must be 49th, then.

This must be a northeast thing. I'm pretty sure we (RI) had that same distinction not that long ago.

Among other titles we in RI have amassed. Like 2nd highest unemployment. 3rd highest tax rates.
We are small but aim big!

Very flat. If you want something a bit more challenging I'd head up towards the Windham area. Not mountains but a nice mix of terrain. Northeast CT is really pretty and without the traffic you will find along the coast.
