White vs black bar tape on white bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

White vs black bar tape on white bike?

Quit admiring my lovely cushions and tell me which looks better!

Slow morning.

In before: flip it.

Show me your white bikes with either, please.

Black looks better for sure.

If you refuse to flip it, the least you can do is slam it.

definitely the black. Matches the accents and doesn't get as grimey as fast. Red is also an acceptable answer based on your paint job.

Well, the white looks like crap. But in general, seems like generally best to match saddle, but that's not in the pictures so can't say.

As for the cushions, are you visiting your grandmother? :-)

Unless you go all white, as in white bars, stem and hoods, I'd say the black is better. Red is also not a bad suggestion when you're looking for a change.

Here's a picture of the full bike. Not the best, but the only one I have on my phone.

Black does look better with the black bars, stem and spacers. I went with white bars, stem, spacers and tape and like the look..

I swear my hoods got lowered when I rode through a pothole. I might go with red tape next time.

Another option might be silver bar tape (yes I know my bike is also silver, but I always thought silver looks good on white bikes):

This bar tape stays clean btw.

That looks like something a T1000 would be riding.

Thanks, I like it....

It's a strange frame (to me atleast) that is a alloy, carbon mix. Other then the black paint on the head and seat tube everything that is black is carbon and the white is alloy. The fake lug stickers cover where the join together.. Not the latest or greatest, but it's a great riding bike...
