Anyone know how to remove 3M Vivid Film?

Anyone know how to remove 3M Vivid Film? Mine is one year old, and a series of crashes, bike stand mistakes, emergency repairs and grease have rendered it messy. Thanks in advance.

That's why I don't care for the stuff and wouldn't use it anywhere but where the chain might slap on the chainstay.

If that's the only place you have it, then just grab it and yank. Maybe use a hair dryer to heat it up some. If you go to a heat gun, then be careful, you might go from bad to worse real quick.

Warm it up with a hairdryer pull off slowly then remove any residue with Isopropyl Alcohol, WD-40, Odorless Mineral Spirits, Lighter Fluid (Naptha), etc. etc. Just make sure it's not harmful to the bike. Sometimes you can also remove the residue by just warming it up again and rolling it off with a dry cloth.

Frame protection tape removal.

I removed a similar film from a used bike frame.
I parked it in the sunshine for and hour to warm it up.
The pulled the tape off.
Note: pulling at 90 degrees to the surface it is stuck to, helps remove more of the glue, but comes at a higher risk of lifting the paint right off the frame.
I had to double the tape back on itself to keep the paint where I wanted it ! A bit more glue to clean up, but better than a respray.
